Reservation Policy

Welcome to Mama Canela! Please review these guidelines before your visit so we can provide a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone.

Arrivals & Grace Period

We’ll hold your table for up to 15 minutes after your reservation time. After that, your reservation may be released, and your party may be added to the walk-in waitlist, based on availability.

If you’re running late, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.

90-Minute Dining Experience

Reservations and walk-in tables are limited to a 90-minute dining experience. This allows us to welcome all guests comfortably and honor upcoming reservations.

Seating & Table Arrangements

Indoor seating is available for parties of up to 6 guests. Parties of 7 or more may be seated on the outdoor patio, depending on availability and weather.

You’re welcome to request a preferred table or seating area when booking, though requests cannot be guaranteed. Because indoor seating is limited, larger parties may not be moved indoors upon arrival. We may also be unable to rearrange tables when party sizes change. When available, patio seating may be offered for larger groups.

Large Parties

For parties of more than 15 guests, please email hello@mamacanela.com in advance.

Large parties enjoy specially curated group dining menus. Our team will be happy to discuss menu options, pricing, availability, and event details to help make your gathering special.

Changes to Party Size

Reservations are confirmed for the number of guests listed at booking. Please notify us as soon as possible if your party size changes.

Additional seating is not guaranteed. If your party grows, we may be unable to seat everyone at the same table. Depending on availability, your reservation may be released, and your party may be added to the walk-in waitlist.

If your party becomes smaller, please update your reservation so we can make the table available to other guests.

Complete Party Requirement

To help us seat everyone efficiently, we ask that your entire party be present before seating. We cannot seat incomplete parties or hold tables for guests who have not yet arrived.

Special Occasions & Dietary Restrictions

Please include special occasions and dietary restrictions in your reservation notes. Advance notice is especially important for significant allergies or dietary restrictions.

We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs, but we cannot guarantee that our kitchen can fulfill every request.
